Black Pumas – Chronicles of a Diamond

The eponymous Black Pumas debut in 2020 was a defining album for the 2020-2021 period of my life. Sean showed me the album in San Marcos la Laguna, it’s beaming excitement fueling certain streams of Travis thereafter.

The return of the Black Pumas instantiates feelings of hope, optimism, and the sense that maybe joy and innocence can return, even in the midst of so much constriction, tension, and stress.
